Abstaining from worldly pleasures

30. Hadith: 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (Radiyallahu 'anhuma) narrates that indeed Nabi ﷺ said: The beginning of the reformation of this Ummah was due to firm belief and abstaining from worldly pleasures and the beginning of the decline of this Ummah will be due to miserliness and long hopes. (Baihaqi)
